Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) facial treatment, uses the body’s own healing resources to stimulate the growth of new tissue, giving your skin a healthy and more youthful appearance.

A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient and it is put through a centrifuge which separates the plasma for the rest of the blood and creates a platelet rich plasma. The plasma is then injected into the area that needs to be treated with a micro cannula , where the platelets release their growth factors.

PRP regenerates collagen, improving skin tone and texture, reducing lines and  wrinkles, restoring a youthful, healthy glow. It is also very helpful when used to address blemishes and to help scarring.

To achieve longer lasting results, a 3 treatments course with intervals of 4/6 weeks between each treatment is highly recommended, with results that will last 18/24 months.

Each treatment can take up to one hour.

How does PRP work?

When re-injected PRP into the skin, the platelets begin to release growth factors. This stimulates collagen production and promotes healing. Collagen, which is found naturally in the body, is at the core of a youthful appearance. With the ageing process the body produces less collagen, which causes loss of volume, and it is one of the main causes of lines and wrinkles.
